- Always let the candle burn until the entire surface becomes liquid.
- Once the entire surface becomes liquid, ensure that the liquid wax never reaches a height of 1.5 cm (0.5 inches).
- Check the position of the wicks. The flames should not come too close or in direct contact with the glass. If they bend a little or change position, they should be pulled back up when the wax sets after firing.
- Always ensure that at least 1 cm (0.5 inch) of wax remains at the bottom of the candle to ensure that the flame never reaches the bottom of the glass. This ensures that the glass does not overheat and avoids the risk of breakage.
